The Tecan Air LiHa (Liquid Handling Arm) 8-Channel is an innovative pipetting solution designed to bring precision, reliability, and flexibility to automated workflows. Using air-displacement technology, it eliminates the need for system liquids, reducing maintenance requirements while providing contamination-free pipetting with disposable tips. Each of its eight channels operates independently, enabling flexible liquid handling across a wide range of labware formats.

With a broad volume range from 0.5 to 1,000 μL per channel and the ability to perform non-contact dispensing down to 0.5 μL, the Air LiHa is ideal for multi-purpose genomic and biochemical applications. From nucleic acid purification and normalization to PCR setup, the Air LiHa offers researchers more freedom in assay design. Integrated MultiSense™ technology enhances reliability with advanced liquid detection and monitoring, including cLLD (capacitive detection for conductive liquids), pLLD (pressure-based detection for non-conductive liquids), and PMP™ (pressure-monitored pipetting for real-time quality control).
