The LVL Technologies SAFE® MX 500 Tube is part of the SAFE® 96 XT Gen3 family of automation-friendly sample storage tubes. Designed for secure sample storage and traceability, the MX 500 provides a 500 µL working volume in a compact SBS-compatible format, making it ideal for biobanking, genomics, clinical diagnostics, and pharmaceutical research applications.
Manufactured from SAFE® L3 medical-grade polypropylene, the tube supports storage temperatures down to -196°C and features a protected 2D coded tube bottom with optional side barcode and human-readable coding for enhanced sample identification. Its automation-friendly design and advanced sealing technology help maintain sample integrity throughout storage and handling.
