Shipping, Returns, & Damaged Shipments

Shipping Policy

Copia Scientific provides professional packaging using shock- and disturbance-resistant sensors to ensure your equipment arrives in excellent condition. We partner with trusted freight carriers, and all shipments are insured for their full value. We offer worldwide shipping.

In the rare event that your order arrives damaged or incomplete, please follow the procedures below.


Damaged Shipments

To ensure a successful claim, it is critical that your Receiving Department inspects the shipment immediately upon delivery.

If external damage to the packaging is visible:

  • Accept the shipment only after noting the damage on both your copy and the driver’s copy of the delivery receipt.
  • Request the carrier to inspect the shipment.
  • Contact Copia Scientific immediately.

If damage is discovered after opening the shipment:

  • Contact the carrier and request an inspection within 5 days of delivery.
  • Retain all original packaging, crates, and materials for inspection.
  • If components are missing or product is damaged, failure to act within 5 days may result in forfeiture of any repair or compensation claim.

Copia Scientific reserves the right to repair damaged items before replacement or credit is considered.


Product Return Policy

  • If a product cannot be repaired or replaced within a reasonable time (not to exceed 45 days from the complaint date), it may be returned without penalty or restocking fee.
  • For non-warranty returns requested within 30 days of receipt, a 25% restocking fee and return freight costs apply.
  • Customers are encouraged to retain original packaging for the duration of the warranty period.
  • If original packaging is unavailable, Copia can provide suitable packaging or packaging services at an additional cost.

Return Material Authorization (RMA)

All returns must be pre-authorized. You will be issued a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#) which must be:

  • Clearly written on the outside of the return box
  • Used to return the item within 7 days of receiving the return approval

 Note: Hazardous shipments must be properly packaged and labeled in accordance with DOT regulations.


Environmental Statement

Please recycle all shipping materials in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
